SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As of this day and age, every politician showcases his or her attendance at social functions. However, there are very who setup their own social organization and carry out actual social activities. Shri Pramod Hindurao is one of the latter. He established the Priyajan Vikas Mandal in 1985 through which he paved the way for a lot of social programs. From the past 12 years – 1997 to 2009 – he has been the Chairperson for the Murbad GunGaurav Samiti. He has also been the founder of the SaiBaba GramVikas Pratishthan. In the year 2010, he was elected as a member of the governing council of the Kalyan Citizen Education Society. Similarly, he has shown his capabilities through his work and drive towards every other aspect of the society.
On 1st May 1985, Priyajan Yuvak Vikas Mandal was founded. Shri Hindurao took on a lot of social endeavors through this organization. He distributed books amongst the poor and needy children in order to aid them in their education. Similarly, he organized council sessions for the students appearing for the Board exams of SSC and HSC. The mandal is planning to open a modernized degree college and an engineering college in the Murbad Taluka.
Similarly, the mandal also ensures that it actively participates in the society. It organizes Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi and Shivjayanti festivals on a large scale, thereby getting the society together.
In order to encourage the youth in Murbad to take up cricket, Shri Hindurao established the Murbad Cricket Academy. Cricket gears were distributed to students across the Taluka. Similarly, in order to ensure that the children receive proper training, a high grade Cricket Stadium is being proposed.
Shri Hindurao has also worked for the betterment of senior citizens. The mandal has opened Newspaper Reading Lirbaries (Vachnalaya) for them. It also established a Nana-Nani park for them.
For these selfless social development activities, Shri Hindurao was deeply appreciated by the society itself as well. The Maratha Samaj Unnati Mandal felicitated him with the “Samaj Bhushan” award. He also received the “Samaj Bhushan” award through the hands of the famed poet Mangesh Padgaonkar from Marathi Vruttapatra Lekhak Sangh.
Other than what is written above, He has associated himself with a lot of organizations working for the people. Priyajan Yuvak Mandal and Shri Pramod Hindurao have almost become a synonym.
Shri Hindurao's work in social division is incomparable. And in near future, there is no doubt that Shri Pramod Hindurao and the betterment of the people shall become synonymous too.
